I keep a small, much-loved flock of free-ranging Silkie bantams here in Somerset, with a mixture of beautiful colours including white, splash, black and partridge.
My birds’ health and welfare always come first. They have plenty of space to roam, forage and behave naturally, alongside a high-quality diet selected to support healthy breeding birds.
I offer freshly collected Silkie hatching eggs, selected with care and packed using purpose-made protective egg packaging. Having posted eggs around the UK, I’ve developed a packing method designed to give them the best possible protection in transit. I’ve been particularly delighted to hear of successful hatches from customers — including 4 out of 6 eggs hatching after travelling all the way from Somerset to Northern Ireland.
Of course, hatch rates can never be guaranteed with posted eggs, as handling during transit and incubation are outside my control. What I can promise is that every order is prepared with genuine care, from looking after the flock to selecting, packing and dispatching your eggs.

These eggs come from my much-loved flock of pure Silkie bantams, kept in a spacious garden in the beautiful Somerset countryside. My birds are healthy, well cared for and receive a high quality diet, with their welfare always coming first.
Our flock includes White, White-Painted, Black and Rare Partridge Silkies running with two cockerels.
Your order includes:

• Carefully selected, clean eggs
• Secure packaging using purpose-made polystyrene egg shippers to help aid safe transit
Every order is packed with the same care and attention that goes into looking after my flock. Eggs are collected daily and dispatched as fresh as possible.
Why are my eggs priced this way?
I believe great eggs start with well-cared-for birds. I have invested in a premium diet for my flock and use specialist packaging to give every order the best chance of arriving safely. It costs a little more, but I feel it’s worth it to provide the quality I’d expect from a seller, if I were the buyer.
As eggs are naturally fragile, I cannot accept responsibility for damage or changes that may occur during transit once your parcel has been posted. Every effort is made to package each order as securely as possible for its journey.
